Message	the suspension. Turns out the bolt fell out of his sway bar making handle rather akwardly. If that is in tackt look at the tension rods. If they are good I would look at the subframe bushings & steering rack bushing. If it the steering rack bushing the steering wheel wont want to return to it's original position (You didn't mention it happening but I wouldn't rule that out.)
